The Milky way adventure park invited us in to review the park and have an amazing day out with the kids, John and the team welcomed us in and let us know what was on for the day and a little bit of info about the Park.
We started by going to watch Britains Got Talent act Merlin the magician, which the kids absolutely loved! He did lot's of audience engagement and his acts were all brilliant, at one stage he used two lighting rods to create changing imagery whilst swinging them around like nunchucks and had the entire audience screaming out what they could see, we've never seen that before and it was awesome. He closed the show by performing his Britains Got Talent water tank escapism act, which was crazy to see in person!
They have an indoor dodgem arena, large indoor play area with demon drops and ball pits, a smaller Tiny Stars Cbeebies inspired play area for under 5's, a Birds Of Prey sanctuary with their own show which runs from Easter-Oct, which was bloody amazing, the Falconer, David was hilarious, with his blunt personality and hilarious jokes he brought out some of his birds to show us, flying Eagles through the tiny gaps in the crowd was a highlight for us but Daphne the Owl had to be our favourite part as this huge chubby stubborn looking Owl absolutely dominated her part of the show. David's informative chat throughout was hilarious and we all left with bird facts we'd never imagined of learning. Kudos for this one Milky Way!
The Milky way has two coasters one for over 1.2metres and one for under so no toddler/big kids tantrums here! Both coasters were enjoyable for this sized park! The best part for me though as a mom was that I tend to find most attractions quite stressful when you have to keep your eye on two under 10's, but The Milky Way seemed to have created the perfect watchful eye areas at every single one of its indoor and outdoor attractions meaning a much more relaxed approach to parenting for the entire day, you don't at all feel like if you take
your eye off them for one second that your going to be searching for your child forever and approaching the tannoy! Which honestly changes the feel to your whole day, we sat like 25+ metres away from both Dillan and Harley whilst they played on the outside giant ballooned bounce area, Jumping Jupiters and Dillan aged 8 ran off onto the Gravity Rider behind all day without needing an adults supervision, It was by far the most relaxing day out with the kids I've had all year purely because I didn't feel on edge about letting them run wild more than usual.
There's so much more I haven;t told you about to explore yourselves, a huge outdoor maze, train rides, and the best kept secret of all The Star wars collection on show here is the largest we've ever seen, with life-sized figures and collectors items worth thousands it's an absolute must see for everyone not just SW fans! There's an alien invasion ride which both the kids enjoyed, another indoor play centre, archery, Harley Davidson expo, Tractor expo, pottery painting, crazy golf and a sensory room, There's so much to do there that I've probably missed something out too! Seriously a great day out for both Cornwall & Devon goers, both you and the kids will love it!
Thanks so much for having us Milky Way, We'll be back!
