Home Inspiration

Well since becoming a DIY Queen all over again with our latest project House, I've found myself forever lusting over new trends, styles and interiors.. I've had paint in my hair now day in day out for the last 2 weeks, I've barely left the house other than to shop for home goodies and take the boys on their adventures.. I've been sharing a few home progress updates on my highlights to answer all the "where's that from" Q's.. So when @highstreettohome featured some of my finds on their story I decided to Poll you lovely lot to see whether interiors should be a bigger part of our Lifestyle Blog.

Psst the other half is going to be SO pleased that yesterday's 5 hour shopping trip to just 3 homewares stores is likely to be extended further by endless photoshoots and bargain hunting now.. Ha!

Excited to bring cute homewares to my blog, it cost over £6000 to furnish my first Cornish house because there was 10 rooms to decorate over 3 floors and lots of hallways and i made the mistake of ignoring my urge to be creative and went all out buying everything brand new, fab.com, made.com, habitat and ikea.co.uk were my faves at the time, and although I love them I've vowed to only buy statement furnishings from them this time around and try to thrift, create and bargain hunt one offs and originals to put a more personal stamp on this house. Not only is it smaller, but we're theming every room differently which means style isn't flowing throughout, I got bored of that.. although there's still a shit load of grey.. can't shift that Love.

I'll be sharing highstreet, bargains, vintage, homemade, cornish, one-offs.. everything pretty that I find!! Along with my current fave styles, current fave stores, inspo's likely to be nicked from Pinterest and DIY tutorials/hacks! PLUS our home updates!

So look out here for posts & on my Insta Highlights for sneak previews!

I can’t fucking do this. I whisper to myself about 200 times a day. It’s not selfish to be real. Why is nobody talking about the boredom that comes with being forced to stay home. (Critics bore off, I
